Due to an administrative error (mine) the call for nominations for=20
P1076.1 VHDL-AMS did not go out as scheduled. I would like
to open nominations for that Working Group chair at this point
with a closure date of August 1, 1999.

I would like to both congratulate and thank Alain Vachoux for his
patience in continuing in the role of chair of that group as well
as successfully balloting a very difficult and important standard.

Any DASC member is free to nominate any DASC member for the=20
position of chairing this WG. Any nominee must agree to serve
the two year term and submit a short statement indicating his/her
position with respect to the issues facing the WG. If there are no
nominees I will ask Alain to continue in this position.
