Has serious thought been given to allowing
remote participation and voting at meetings?
This has worked well for IPC meetings.
Videoconferencing, with optional voice-only
conferencing, should be considered for
all these meetings.
On the one hand, holding meetings at a variety of
exotic locations allows OCCASIONAL participation
by everyone, and frequent participation by those
with money and time to burn. On the other hand,
holding meetings at no particular location allows
almost everyone to be a frequent participant.
