Dear colleagues,

DASC elections are due for the positions of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and
Treasurer. I would like to invite a member of the DASC to act as returning
officer for the elections. The returning officer will

- not be a nominee for any of the positions and shall not vote
- receive nominations,
- receive, acknowledge, record and tally votes
- announce the outcome of the elections
- maintain records of the elections

The schedule for elections is

- nominations until 1-Dec-2003
- email ballot 3-Dec to 17-Dec

If you are prepared to take on the role of returning officer, please let me
know. Your services will be much appreciated. Thanks.
