Even, I'm not sure what you think *counts*. Officers? TC chairs? TC
members? If the latter, then the net spreads very far; I suspect the
overlap may include a very large percentage of DASC members. Certainly it
includes me; I suspect it may include a large percentage of the
SystemVerilog DASC committee. This is really a very small community, and
there isn't a whole lot of people to get the work done. I keep on bumping
into the same people again and again.
If your point is conflict of interest, then I'm afraid that membership in
Accellera is the least of your worries; corporate connections would seem to
be a far larger weight on the scale than Accellera connections. And if all
you are interested in is "full disclosure" (what ever that may mean), then I
suppose you may simply ask the question when it comes up. Certainly no one
is hiding anything here --- with these groups, disorganization is a much
more likely explanation than secrecy for any omission of information, every
time.
At any rate, an Email to Lynn Corbin of Accellera should deliver the goods;
Accellera is much more likely to know it's officers than anyone on the DASC
list. Dennis Brophy gets these Emails, but he is traveling, and reads this
list when he gets the chance; if you want answers in a timely fashion, you
may have to be more proactive than an appeal to the general air. Peter is
on a plane back to Australia; if you can get to the Accellera web site you
can get Lynn's Email address. But I suggest being very specific about what
you want; if I am confused, Lynn and Dennis probably will be.
