DASC Group:

If you increase the individual membership over ~100.00 I will not be able to renew. It seems that this organization needs to be dissolved. God Bless you.

As one who occasionally sticks his head out of the sand, I'd have to agree with Shalom about this -- there needs to be a more concentrated effort on getting individual participation up, possibly targeting the user community. It might be helpful if there were some kind of SA/DASC membership drive targeting the IEEE community, via email/snail mail/conferences/etc..

I'm also concerned that almost 1/3 of the 1076 WG voting membership is now ineligible to vote. At what point do we lose the ability to maintain a quorum for voting?

I submit that an objective of DASC should be to encourage wide individual participation. This proposal would instead discourage such.
