Actually, I can see that I wasn't clear. The principals
I'm talking about are the ones who make up the DASC
steering committee. The rest of us are valuable too,
of course, but we're going to find a way to keep
working together because we're working on standards
together. My concern was the doyens of the steering
committee who, without our support, would apparently lack
the resources to keep getting together.
But you do raise a good point: If the rest of us
lose the incentive to keep joining, even raising the
fees to $100 each isn't going to accomplish that.
