1076.1 Officer election results

Hi All,
 
After a short break from the holidays, I have some election news.  The
1076.1 officer elections officially closed on 12/29/2009 at 5pm PST.
All the encumbant officers were re-elected by approval of the eligible
voters as follows:
 
Chair:         Ernst Christen
Vice-Chair:  John Willis
Secretary:   Alain Vachoux
Treasurer:   David Smith
 
Besides the eligible voters, there were 11 additional members of 1076.1
that also approved these candidates.  Please join me in congratulating
them.
 
I must note that, per our polices and procedures, the election of the
Chair and Vice-Chair must be confirmed by the DASC.  I ask that the DASC
consider these results at their earliest convenience.
